Since 2017, the Greater Cincinnati Association of Black Journalists (GCABJ) has partnered with the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) to conduct a High School Journalism Camp. 

The purpose of the camp, annually held in June, is to expose students to the world of journalism, target primarily students of color, in hopes of increasing diverse representation in newsrooms in the future.
